This works with T-Mobile “4G” HSPA+ up to 21 Mbit/s. Some cities have been upgraded to allow theoretical 42 Mbit/s speeds with the newest devices; the Galaxy Nexus is not capable of going over 21.
In real life usage with T-Mobile’s current network you will likely see somewhere between 2 to 8 Mbit/s, depending on your city, so it’s not really an issue yet.
